What To Expect When You're Not Expecting The End of Your Legal Career

On Wednesday, November 13, Warren Savage will present “What To Expect When You’re Not Expecting the End of Your Legal Career” for the Bar Luncheon program. Make sure you’re prepared in case of an emergency by following these tips from Mr. Savage, who works as a claims attorney with Lawyers Mutual.

Do you know who will handle your affairs if you’re suddenly unable to come to work? How long will you need to maintain your malpractice insurance after retirement? Learn about these serious matters (but have a few chuckles, too) with Mr. Savage’s fast-paced presentation.

Mr. Savage joined the Lawyers Mutual as claim counsel in 2005. He focuses on litigation, appellate advocacy, criminal matters and professional responsibility in his work with Lawyers Mutual. A former partner with the law firm of Bailey & Dixon, Warren graduated from the University of Virginia and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before graduating magna cum laude from Campbell University School of Law. He spent several years as a high school English teacher and junior varsity basketball coach before entering the legal profession.

The Bar luncheon program will begin at 12:45, and end at 1:15. For those who wish to earn CLE credit, the remainder of the CLE will begin at 1:20 pm and end at 1:50 pm. The cost of the one-hour CLE is $25 for members, and $50 for non-member lawyers.
