From Gill Beck, 2022-2023 Bar President:
I am honored to serve as the President of the Buncombe County Bar for the upcoming year.
As a member of the Executive Committee for several years, I have witnessed firsthand the outstanding leadership provided by past Bar Presidents, and in particular my predecessor Carter Webb, who demonstrated exceptional leadership as we emerged from the COVID-19 Pandemic and started meeting again in person.
In the upcoming year, the Executive Committee will build on the strong foundation that Carter Webb and past presidents have established by expanding our in-person meetings, social events, and CLEs, while continuing to support the wellness of our members through wellness programs and resources. We will also look for new ways to serve the members of our Bar. In all that we do, we will seek to promote professionalism, civility, and collegiality among our members.
In the upcoming year, the Executive Committee and I look forward to meeting with you at monthly luncheons, social events, wellness programs, and CLEs. Please feel free to contact me, members of the Executive Committee, and our Bar Administrator Lisa-Gaye Hall with any questions, concerns, or recommendations you may have. Together, we are going to have a great year. Thank you for the privilege to serve as your Bar President.
