Weekly Bar Briefs, 5-31-2016

Dear Bar Members,

We have two events coming up next week, and we hope to see you at both! First, on Tuesday night we’ll attend the Asheville Tourists baseball game and cheer our home team! Then, on Wednesday, June 8, we’ll gather at lunchtime for the Bar’s Annual Meeting. A new slate for the 2016-2017 Executive Committee will be presented by the Nominating Committee for approval, and members will vote on a change in the Bar’s bylaws. The winners of the Professionalism and Centennial Awards will also be announced, along the winner of  a new “Distinguished Young Lawyer Award.”
