Van Winkle Congratulates Newest Partners!

The Van Winkle Law Firm is happy to announce our two newest Partners.  Brian T. Lawler, with our Elder Law/Trust & Estates group and Brian D. Gulden, with our Land Use team.

As an Elder Law attorney, Brian Lawler assists clients in identifying resources and developing plans to enable them to live long, healthy, and active lives. He focuses his practice on elder law, estate planning and administration, incapacity planning and guardianships, and working with adults and children with disabilities. Using a variety of planning tools, Brian helps clients who might otherwise be disqualified from public assistance protect and preserve their assets to supplement care provided by Medicaid, Social Security, and the Veterans Administration.

Brian Gulden practices in the area of civil litigation with a focus on land use and zoning matters as well as construction disputes. He has significant experience in representing Homeowners’ Associations as well as those residing in planned communities. Brian began his legal career in 1999 and, after a brief time in Shelby, transitioned his practice to Asheville in 2006. Brian has previously been a board member for Pisgah Legal Services and is currently an advisory member with the Kids in Parks Board.

Congratulations to both Brians!
