Stone & Christy Announcement

The law firm of Stone & Christy PA announces that as of December 31, 2021, Bill Christy will cease the full-time practice of law and will become Of Counsel, handling only limited matters.  “I am lucky to have been able to practice in Black Mountain for over 25 years, first with Dick Stone as my partner for a few years, and then with Bryant Webster and James Ellis as my partners for almost 20 years, and Barrett McFatter for the past few years.  In addition to my partners, we have long-time staff members who are indispensable members of our team.  My partners and staff have made practicing law a rewarding and enjoyable experience for which I am grateful.  The time is right for me to transition to focusing on matters other than the practice of law.”  Bill will limit his practice this year as part of the transition plan.
