Sheila M. Lambert Appointed to State Bar Committees

Sheila M. Lambert of the Law Offices of Sheila M. Lambert has been appointed by State Bar President Ronald G. Baker Sr. to serve as an advisory member of two committees of the North Carolina State Bar, the Ethics Committee and the Authorized Practice Committee.

The primary purpose of the Ethics Committee is to advise members of the State Bar concerning their own ethical dilemmas. The Authorized Practice Committee reviews and acts on investigations and inquiries concerning the activities of non-lawyers and the practice of law in North Carolina. Howard Gum, Bar Councilor for the 28th Judicial District, serves as Vice-Chair of the Authorized Practice Committee in addition to his work on other committees of the Bar. Committees meet in conjunction with the State Bar’s quarterly meetings.
