Asheville office in downtown location seeks a detailed-oriented team member skilled in managing scheduling, preferably from a civil case management perspective. Hybrid work environment. The scheduling paralegal position may include the following duties:
- Scheduling depositions/mediations/hearings, noticing all participants
- Preparing deposition notices, notices of hearings, subpoenas, and the like
- Calendaring/docketing hearings, discovery, and other deadlines
- Communicating with clients and/or witnesses for scheduling purposes
- Learning and accommodating attorney preferences for scheduling
- Handling scheduling for multiple attorneys on team
- Communicating and resolving competing priorities, when appropriate
- Other tasks that may be needed to complete scheduling matters and/or help the team
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Outlook
- Manage/meet deadlines (court, client, team)
- Detail-oriented
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat PDF
