Seeking Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Downtown Asheville Estate Planning and Elder Care attorney is seeking a legal assistant/paralegal with Wills/Estates experience. Duties include drafting documents, preparing accountings, answering phones, maintaining and organizing files, maintaining attorney’s calendar, and data entry in Quickbooks. Must be able to work in a challenging and detailed oriented practice. Real estate experience is also helpful as duties include rental property management. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who takes the initiative, adds value and is able to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and deadlines. Must have excellent communication skills, and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel. Quickbooks experience helpful. A minimum of three to five years legal experience preferred.
This position is full time and salary is based upon experience and skill level.
