Seeking Contracts Paralegal

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Contracts Paralegal will work to review Aeroflow Healthcare’s routine contracting with medical insurance payers and vendors and will work closely with Corporate Counsel.

Primary responsibilities will include: analysis of insurance company and vendor contracts, maintenance of database to communicate contract obligations; and tracking review status. Additional responsibilities will include general support of the Corporate Counsel position with light drafting and formatting of legal documents and correspondence, tracking of company patent filed and research on select areas of the law affecting the Company’s business (including privacy and data protection, consumer protection law, and intellectual property, fair credit reporting and general healthcare law); and undertaking other projects under the supervision of the Corporate Counsel. Also, interacts directly with internal clients on a daily basis.

Qualifications

Paralegal certification and related experience
At least some knowledge of healthcare law is highly desirable
Good analytic ability
Good written and oral communication skills
Microsoft office computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
Organized self-starter with strong project management skills
Demonstrated integrity and ethics, with the ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
Marked attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively and switch effortlessly between independent and collaborative workstreams
