Rob Mays Appointed Bankruptcy Trustee, Forms New Firm

Rob Mays announces the formation of the Mays Law Firm, PLLC.   Mr. Mays will serve as a Chapter 7 trustee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and will continue to represent creditors and fraud victims in select matters.   He will focus on judgement enforcement, contested bankruptcy matters, fraud recovery, commercial collections, and litigation involving concealed and transferred assets.

Previously, Rob was a shareholder at the Van Winkle Law Firm, where he practiced in litigation and creditors rights.  Prior to that, he was a litigation associate at WilmerHale, in Washington, D.C., and a law clerk for the Honorable Gerald B. Tjoflat, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Mr. Mays was named to Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite” for bankruptcy in 2018, and named as a “Super Lawyer” for creditor-debtor rights in 2019.
