12:30 – 12:50 pm — Overview of Federal and State Law in Representing Students with Disabilities in Individualized Education Program (IEP) Meetings

12:50 – 2:35 pm — The Legal Standard for IEPs and Policies/Procedures for IEP Meetings

2:35 – 2:50 pm — Break

2:50 – 3:50 pm — Ethical Considerations When Representing Students with Disabilities

3:50 – 4:00 pm — Break

4:00 – 5:00 pm — Representing Students with IEPs in School Discipline Matters

 Each participant will receive a training manual including course outlines with legal references, manuscripts and sample documents. Approved by the NC State Bar Board of CLE for 3.0 general credit hours and 1.0 ethics credit hour.All CLE fees will be paid by the course presenter.
