Proposed 40th Judicial District Family Court Domestic Rules (local rules for Family Court) are now available for review and comment. The proposed rules, if adopted, would replace the current local rules which can be found at this link.
Paper copies of the proposed local rules may be picked up at the Family Court offices on the 3rd floor of the original part of the Courthouse. In addition, copies shall also be posted in the halls near the Family Courtrooms and shall be made available in the attorney negotiation rooms in the secured halls of the Family Courtrooms. Helpful comments may be emailed to Ms. Virginia Ortiz at virginia.ortiz@nccourts.org.
