Morgan Menjivar is an Associate Attorney in Coffield Heedy Kilgore PLLC’s Trusts & Estates practice group. She works with individuals and families on estate planning and estate administration matters, helping clients navigate important decisions with clarity and confidence. Morgan is known for her thoughtful, client-centered approach and for making complex legal and financial concepts easier to understand so clients can move forward with practical solutions tailored to their needs.
Before joining CHK, Morgan built a multifaceted practice in Asheville focused on estate planning, small business law, tax planning, and employment matters. She has experience preparing revocable living trusts, supplemental needs trusts, and probate and ancillary probate filings, and she has also advised small business owners and individuals on tax and succession issues through her work with Greg Clark, CPA. Earlier in her career, Morgan served as a staff attorney with Outten & Golden LLP, where she assisted with complex, multi-state plaintiff side employment litigation, conducted extensive legal research, and managed demanding discovery projects—experience that strengthened the analytical, organizational, and communication skills she brings to every client matter.
Morgan is deeply connected to the Asheville community and is active in local leadership and service. She serves on the board of the YWCA of Asheville, has held multiple leadership roles with the Junior League of Asheville including as President, and is a graduate of Leadership Asheville Class 40. Morgan earned her J.D. from New York Law School and her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
