Ben was raised in Eden, North Carolina and attended undergrad at Appalachian State University. While at App, Ben was a member of the cheerleading team. Following graduation, Ben attended law school at Elon University School of Law, where he was a member of the Honor Counsel, Phi-Alpha-Delta, and the Fellowship of Christian Lawyers. Ben began his career in Boone, North Carolina, and relocated to Asheville in early 2026. He is the managing attorney at the Midtown Law Asheville location located downtown on Patton Avenue.
