On Wednesday the 28th Judicial District Bar and Pisgah Legal Services honored several exemplary volunteer attorneys and celebrated the generous pro bono service of the Bar.
* Larry Harris was honored with a Lifetime Service Award for several decades of generous pro bono work.
* Bo Carpenter and Justin Sigmon were honored as Outstanding Volunteer Attorneys
* Cindy Eller was honored as an Exemplary Emeritus Attorney for her pro bono work in retirement.
* Nicole Applefield Engle was honored for the statewide Younger Lawyer Award she will receive from the NCBA in June.
