Partners Included in Business North Carolina Legal Elite 2022

Patrick McCroskey and Janet Amburgey have been included in the Business North Carolina Legal Elite Family Law Section 2022.  Business North Carolina ballots lawyers in the state annually for votes of confidence for their peers. Ballots are write-ins for each practice area surveyed by Business North Carolina. Patrick has been included in the Legal Elite ten times.  This is Janet’s fourth appearance on the list, first in the inaugural year of the Legal Elite Young Guns category.

Patrick is a North Carolina Board Certified Legal Specialist in Family Law and Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is included in Best Lawyers in America’s Family Law Section where he has been named Lawyer of the Year in the Asheville Metropolitan Area three times.  He is also included in North Carolina Super Lawyers and is an AV Preeminent Peer Rated Lawyer at Martindale-Hubbell.  

Janet Amburgey is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law.  Janet has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America since 2019. She is also included in North Carolina Super Lawyers where she was first listed in Rising Stars.

Patrick McCroskey is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law and an American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Fellow. He limits his family law practice to complex matters surrounding separation and divorce.  As a Certified Family Financial Mediator, Patrick provides services to other family law attorneys and their clients through mediation, and to the community at large in his capacity as Buncombe County Certified Parenting Coordinator.
