Overview of Landlord/Tenant & Consumer Matters During the Pandemic CLE

The Pro Bono Committee of the Buncombe County Bar will host a virtual CLE Program on Wed, January 13, 2021 to provide an overview of key areas of Landlord/Tenant Law and  including termination of tenancy and habitability issues in residential rental housing, and of Consumer Protection Law, including debtors’ rights and common credit issues faced by low-income members of our community. Presenter Molly Maynard will discuss these areas of law in light of the pandemic’s impact on our region.  The sessions will provide good background for attorneys interested in doing pro bono service in the areas of landlord/tenant and consumer protection/debt. The Pro Bono Committee of the Bar is providing this one-hour CLE at no charge. Click here to sign up.
