Update-North Carolina State Bar/40th Judicial District Bar Meeting

The North Carolina State Bar and the 40th (formerly 28th) Judicial District Bar meeting and CLE program at the Renaissance Hotel in Asheville, NC  set for March 20 has been postponed.

The program will feature presentations concerning various functions of the State Bar and other matters of interest to the profession. Participants include State Bar President Colon Willoughby, President-Elect Barbara Christy, Vice President Darrin Jordan, Executive Director Alice Mine, and several other members of the State Bar staff. Attendees will earn 2 hours of CLE credit in professional responsibility (ethics).

This meeting is designed to enhance communications between the leadership of the State Bar and practicing lawyers, judges, district attorneys, and corporate counsel on the local level. The leadership of the State Bar is truly interested in hearing from you on issues affecting the profession and your law practices.

The program begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 12:00 noon. Lunch will be served after the program. There is no registration fee for the State Bar meeting or lunch.
