Nominations for the Office of Public Defender of Defender District 40 are now being accepted. Candidates wishing to be considered may submit their name and biographical information in writing to the Bar Administrator of Buncombe County/40th Judicial District Bar at admin@buncombebar.com prior to the nominations meeting to be held Wed., July 17 at 12:30 via Zoom. Nominations may also be received from the floor from any member authorized to vote. A minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 nominees must be submitted.
