Effective January 1, 2026, The Law Office of Daniel S. Huffenus, PLLC has become Huffenus and Mallos, PLLC with the addition of Barrett Mallos as partner. Barrett practiced for over 21 years in the Charlotte office of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP where he was a partner in the real estate practice. He has vast experience representing investors, borrowers, lenders and loan servicers in complex commercial real estate matters. At Huffenus and Mallos, Barrett will join Dan Huffenus in assisting investors and borrowers navigate commercial real estate finance transactions.
