The Firm of Campbell Shatley, PLLC is excited to announce that M. Braxton Marcela has joined our firm as an associate this May. Mr. Marcela is a 2017 graduate of the American University Washington College of law. He also received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Spanish, with a minor in Rhetoric and Public Service from Hampden-Sydney College in 2014. While in law school, Mr. Marcela served as the Publications Editor for the American University Criminal Law Practitioner and worked in the Criminal Justice Clinic as a Student Attorney. He is a native of Mount Airy, North Carolina, enjoys kickboxing, running, hiking, reading, and spending time with his dog Patton. In addition to working at Campbell Shatley, PLLC, he serves as a First Lieutenant in the Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps, where he does legal assistance for the 151st Legal Operations Detachment out of Fort Lee, VA.
