Make sure your pro bono service counts!

The Mountain Area Volunteer Lawyers Program appreciates the Buncombe County Bar’s commitment to pro bono service. Many attorneys choose to take cases referred directly by Pisgah Legal Services but we know that attorneys often provide pro bono representation outside of the cases referred by the MAVL Program. On our website you can find a “self reporting” form that allows you to report any pro bono service your firm has provided to low income clients. When you report these hours to the MAVL program we give you MAVL credit and we are able to better report the dedicated service of our local bar.
