July 15, 2026

Dear ,

As a member of the Buncombe County Judicial Bar, your annual dues for this fiscal year are $90 and this email is your invoice. The deadline for your dues payment is September 15, 2026. A late fee of $15.00 will be added after this deadline.

Please note that, by law, failure to pay the annual membership fee must be reported to the North Carolina State Bar and may result in suspension of the member’s license to practice law. To comply with the state statute, payment must be received by January 15, 2027, to avoid being reported to the NC State Bar.

As you may remember, our mandated dues were drastically reduced from $150/year to $90/year two years ago. We are grateful to those of you who are continuing to contribute at a higher level than $90. If you would like to voluntarily add a donation to your payment to make up for the reduction, we will all reap more benefits. Because of your donations last year, we offered members 22 1/2 hours of free CLEs, along with several special events at no cost. Thank you for considering a donation as you pay your 2026-2027 dues.

Please make sure to log into your portal and update your profile if you haven’t recently. And, you can submit your payment with a credit card on this webpage via the following form. If you have questions or concerns, please email admin@buncombebar.com.

A few special reminders:
  • We sent notices to everyone who registered for auto debits for this payment. You do not need to do anything at this time if you are registered to pay on a subscription;
  • Some firms have an online administrator setup to pay all of the attorney dues. If you are wondering whether your firm is paying your dues through an online portal, please check with your administrator. You may need to enter the firm's group code to get credit for the payment.
And lastly, our theme this year is member engagement. We hope to see all of you at a luncheon or special event soon!

Sincerely,

Heather Boeke, Director
Buncombe County Bar
