Weekly Bar Briefs - June 30, 2026

Dear Buncombe Bar Members,

As my term as President of the Buncombe County Bar comes to a close, I want to thank all of you for your friendship, encouragement, and support throughout this past year. Serving our Bar has been one of the greatest honors of my career, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to give back to such an outstanding legal community.

The Buncombe County Bar is special because of its members—lawyers and judges who are committed not only to excellence in the profession, but also to supporting one another and serving our community. Thank you for making this such a rewarding experience.

As my final act as President, I was delighted to make the final pitch at Lawyers' Night with the Asheville Tourists. Thanks to everyone who attended and enjoyed a great night together. It has truly been a privilege to serve, and I look forward to seeing you this fall at the Bar luncheon!
-Susan Russo Klein
