Lawyers for Good Government (L4GG) announces nationwide Pro Bono Litigation Corp

Why It Matters Now

The rule of law in the U.S. is facing unprecedented attacks:

  • Executive orders are targeting law firms, deterring pro bono participation

  • Vulnerable clients are struggling to find representation, even for urgent civil rights cases

  • Retired and unaffiliated attorneys want to help, but lack the infrastructure to do so

  • Traditional pro bono models are breaking down—just when they’re needed most

PBLC fills this critical gap by enabling a new force of impact litigators to act—now.

Lawyers for Good Government’s Pro Bono Litigation Corps (PBLC) is meeting this moment with bold action. Under the leadership of retired Skadden partner Gary DiBianco and conflict resolution leader John Marks, the PBLC provides experienced, unaffiliated attorneys with the infrastructure and support they need to serve as primary counsel or co-counsel on high-impact constitutional litigation.
