Land and Sky Relay Race

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, the four-person team ‘Crew(j)d’, which consisted of Steve Sizemore, Scott Boatwright, Wyatt Stevens, and Carter Webb (all members of the Buncombe County Bar), won first place in the Grandmasters Male category and finished 4th overall in the second Land and Sky Relay Race (see https://gloryhoundevents.com/event/land-and-sky-relay/).  Their total time was 9 hours, 17 minutes, and 54 seconds.  The race started at White Duck Taco in the River Arts District and finished at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort (a total of 63 miles).  In the inaugural relay race in 2019 (the 2020 race was canceled), these same runners also finished 4th overall.  These runners just get better with age!
