It is with a tremendous amount of pride that I announce my affiliation with the NC Eminent Domain Law Firm.
I will be leading the firm’s Asheville office and focusing on defending property owners when the government or a utility company takes their land for a road, utility easement, or for some other public purpose.
I have focused on eminent domain law for the majority of my 26-year-long career, originally representing landowners for 14 years. For the last 12 years, I’ve been working for the NC Attorney General’s Office representing the NC Department of Transportation, and I’ve decided that now is the perfect time to return to private practice. In my past position as Special Deputy Attorney General, I was responsible for the Western Office, I litigated the most sophisticated and complex cases in the 26 western counties of North Carolina, and I mentored younger attorneys in condemnation law.
