Joesph P. McGuire named to 2014 North Carolina Super Lawyer List

Firm president Joseph P. McGuire has been named to the North Carolina Super Lawyers list for the 4th consecutive year as one of the top attorneys in North Carolina for 2014. McGuire has been recognized in the practice areas of Business and Civil Litigation. No more than 5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected to Super Lawyers.

Joe McGuire has been practicing with McGuire, Wood & Bissette since 1978. His work includes litigation related to breach of contract, shareholder rights, insurance coverage, employee and business fraud, trade secrets, covenants not to compete, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and property disputes. In the community McGuire serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Diversity Education at UNC-Asheville and the Board of Directors for the Leadership Asheville Forum.
