Jeff Stahl named Managing Partner of Dungan, Kilbourne & Stahl

Dungan, Kilbourne & Stahl, P.A. is pleased to announce Attorney Jeff Stahl’s election as Managing Partner of the Firm effective September 1, 2016. Mr. Stahl will be only the second person to hold the senior leadership position in the Firm’s more than 30-year history.

A native of Waynesville, Mr. Stahl has practiced in Asheville since his admission to the bar in 2004. Prior to joining Dungan, Kilbourne & Stahl, he worked with Asheville legal legend William “Bill” Biggers. In addition to practicing in the firm’s core areas of Real Property law and Community Association law, Mr. Stahl has developed a practice representing banks in special asset collections as well as representing businesses in their collection efforts. A father of a young daughter, Mr. Stahl community services includes leading the site selection committee for Invest Collegiate Imagine charter school.

Mr. Stahl explains the challenge of leading the firm. “My father was a small business owner in Haywood County. I worked for him through school and he taught me many things about taking care of your customers and effectively running a business. For years, I have relied on this experience when I advised our small business clients. Now I am using this experience for the management of Dungan, Kilbourne & Stahl, P.A.”

Dungan, Kilbourne & Stahl, P. A. was founded in 1985 by Robert Dungan, who remains at the firm. Mr. Stahl is honored to follow in Robert Dungan’s footsteps. “Robert has been a great mentor and example for other lawyers. His combination of tenacity and thoughtful intellect has provided great service to our clients and set an excellent example to the other lawyers in the firm. Following his model, all of our attorneys provide responsive and practical client service in simple and complex legal matters. I have big shoes to fill, but am working hard to lead Dungan, Kilbourne & Stahl and its clients into the future.”
