Jazz for Justice is a fundraiser and celebration of the work of Pisgah Legal Services, volunteers and supporters. This year’s event will honor former PLS Board President, community volunteer and leader Don C. Locke, retired attorney and volunteer Raymond A. Reiser, and former PLS Board Member, former Buncombe County Bar Pro Bono Committee Chair, and volunteer lawyer Joy G. McIver. The event will be held at The Venue on March 18, beginning with a cocktail reception at 5:30 pm, and featuring the music of the Rich Wiley Jazz Band. An awards presentation will begin at 7 pm. Proceeds from the event will support PLS’ programs that help more than 13,000 people in WNC annually to meet their most basic needs.
