The Wellness Committee invites you to take action for Mental Health today! Take time to improve your wellbeing, whether it be through scheduling time on your calendar for self-care or signing up for a gym, yoga, or meditation session.

For those of you who have been putting off scheduling a therapy session or calling Lawyers Assistance Program to inquire about their programs for yourself or someone you care about, today’s the day to take action. Resources for attorneys include:

– BarCARES: Offers lawyers three free confidential counseling sessions annually to assist with a variety of issues, including: stress, personal issues, family issues, work issues, and coaching regarding stress/time management. Call 1-800-640-0735.

– Lawyers Assistance Program: Assists lawyers with a range of issues and provides short-term counseling and crisis management, intervention assistance, and assessments. If you are concerned about the well-being of a colleague, you can also contact LAP to give an anonymous and confidential referral. Call 1-704-910-2310.
