Mediators face recurrent and tricky problems in their mediation practices. This continuing mediator education (CME) seminar for NCDRC Certified Superior Court mediators will focus on finding answers for these problems under the MSC Rules, the federal WDNC Local Rules and the DRC’s ethical standards.

The seminar will walk through an array of practical problems arising in court-ordered mediations in Superior Court and federal court cases. Many trouble spots will be addressed, including scheduling challenges, practical problems at mediation and the key reporting requirements, as well as how to collect mediator fees. Speakers will also discuss recent changes to the MSC Rules and the latest DRC advisory opinions.

This event — put on by The Mediation Center — is a LIVE WEBINAR hosted on Zoom and is a repeat of the April 24 webinar.

The presenters are Frank Goldsmith and the Honorable Sharon Tracey Barrett.
