New Bar members are invited to sign up now for the annual Swearing-in Ceremony for the Buncombe County Bar. The event will be held in the fifth floor courtroom in the Buncombe County Courthouse. Registration closed Wednesday, October 23 at 5:00 PM.
If you are a new attorney and want to participate in this ceremony, please sign up below. Family and friends are invited to attend the ceremony, and all Buncombe Bar members are encouraged to attend.
If you are seeking admission to the Federal Courts, please submit a completed application along with a check for $300 after this State swearing-in ceremony. Click here for detailed instructions and to access the application. Applications and payment can be mailed to the courthouse or dropped off in person. Please make sure to select either option #1 or option #2 on the admission form. If applications are not complete, the applicant will have to make an appointment with the clerks to be sworn in at a later time.
