The Buncombe Bar lunches will be held at the YMI Cultural Center this year, located at 39 South Market Street. Members and guests can order a lunch or just join us for the presentation and good fellowship. Lunches must be ordered by Nov. 10 at noon.
Our presenter this month is Asheville Mayor, Esther Manheimer. Mayor Manheimer’s presentation, Helene Recovery Update: Asheville’s Path to Resilience, provides a progress report on the city’s post-crisis recovery efforts. It highlights completed infrastructure and service restorations, identifies remaining gaps and challenges, and outlines strategic priorities and next steps to ensure resilient rebuilding, stakeholder partnership, and accountability in the ongoing recovery.
