Plan now to join us for a Judicial Forum at the February Bar Luncheon at the Asheville Social Hall, 81 Broadway Street.

The Bar has invited all candidates for District Court Judge seats and the Clerk of Court seat to speak to the Bar at this luncheon. Speakers will include: Emily Dezio, Todd Lentz, Meredith Pressley, and Robin Merrill for judge, and Johanna Finkelstein and Jean Marie Christy for clerk. Each candidate will have five minutes to address Bar members, with President-Elect Matthew Roberson serving as moderator.

All Buncombe Bar members are welcome to attend. Attendees may order a boxed lunch from us, bring your lunch, or simply join us to hear the program and enjoy a complementary soft drink. (There’s no need to RSVP if you’re not ordering lunch…just drop in!)  RSVP below.

We have a sponsor for this luncheon, and this helps us to afford the costs associated with this event. Our sponsor will make a short announcement before the program, and will have a table with information about their business. This month’s sponsor is:
