Dare to Care Food Drive

The North Carolina Advocates for Justice are hosting a “Dare to Care: Feed Those in Need Food Drive” throughout North Carolina during the period from November 4th through November 22nd. Minick Law, P.C. located at 107 Merrimon Avenue, Ste. 110, Asheville, NC 28801, has volunteered to serve as the local coordinator and drop off location for canned and nonperishable food items. Kilbourne and Rockoff elected to FBA offices

Asheville lawyers, James Kilbourne of Dungan, Kilbourne & Stahl and Sabrina Presnell Rockoff of McGuire, Wood & Bissette, were recently elected as officers of the Western District of North Carolina’s chapter of the Federal Bar Association. In the chapter’s Annual Meeting in Charlotte, Kilbourne was elected Secretary, replacing Lori Ritter of Asheville, and Rockoff was elected Treasurer, replacing the Honorable Forest A. Ferrell of Hickory. Their one-year terms commence January 2014. Magistrate Judge David Cayer of Charlotte and Mark Calloway of Charlotte were re-elected as President and Vice-President, respectively. Carleton Metcalf of the Van Winkle Law Firm has served as the Founding President of the Chapter and remains active, chairing the Leadership Committee.
