Melody J. King is an associate in the firm’s Family Law Practice Group. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Florida in 2012. After graduation, she worked as a paralegal in Orlando, Florida for a boutique firm representing homeowner associations. Melody returned to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating in 2017 with her Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Melody was a member of the Florida Law Review and received the Pro Bono Project Outstanding Achievement Certificate for participating in over 105 hours of pro bono services. Melody is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and Florida. Prior to joining the firm, she assisted clients primarily with estate planning matters.
