Seeking Social Security Disability Paralegal / Legal Assistant

In search of a paralegal/legal assistant for Asheville office of well-established law firm in Social Security Disability department for a full-time position. Social Security experience preferred. We are willing to train for the position, but it will require a person who is a quick-study, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
Job duties will include:
-Answering phones
-Communicating with clients, attorneys, etc. via phone, mail, and e-mail
-Case Management
-Making appointments
-Ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records
-File creation, organization, and maintenance
-Entering data into computerized case management files

Must be professional with a positive demeanor. Good writing, editing, spelling, and grammar skills are essential. Must have strong computer skills and be able to learn new software quickly. Hourly rate based on experience. Background check and professional or educational reference required.
