Allen Stahl + Kilbourne, PLLC welcomes new attorney Alicia E. Sessoms to the firm!

Allen Stahl + Kilbourne, PLLC is excited to announce our latest addition to the ASK legal team, attorney Alicia E. Sessoms. Sessoms recently earned her law degree, with honors, from North Carolina Central University. She has a Bachelor’s in English from Warren Wilson College, in Swannanoa, NC.

Prior to attending law school (and during), she owned and operated restaurants in Asheville, NC with her business partner, Jacob Sessoms. They opened their first restaurant, Table, in 2005. They later opened the restaurant which became All Day Darling in 2008, the Imperial Life Cocktail Lounge in 2012, and El Gallo in 2020. Alicia remains the business administrator for all their business entities.

“We are very happy to welcome Alicia and know she will be a great addition to the firm. Her background as a restaurant owner in Asheville brings us a unique perspective that will benefit our clients immensely,” said Stahl.

Sessoms says “The decision to go to law school was borne out of my desire to be of greater service to the unique needs of small business owners in and around Asheville. COVID-19 is just yet another example of the difficulties small business can unexpectedly face which require dynamic solutions and great adaptability to survive. I am interested in helping business owners navigate this complex landscape.”

Alicia has two sons, Dallas (23) and Atticus (21), who are the joys of her life. She also has 2 sweet dogs and a deep love of these mountains which she’s called home since 1998. Before opening Table, she taught English at Asheville High School.
